We have a Gateway g1100 duel band router provided by Frontier. We recently upgraded our service from their old 15/5 mbps to 100/100 mbps. We are unable to achieve the higher speed on the 2.4ghz setting but can on the 5ghz setting on the router. Sadly the 5ghz signal sucks big time. It's pretty weak and lately unstable requiring a modem reset. Is there a more reliable/stable with a bit stronger signal dual band router that is compatible with Frontiers Fios?
