I just upgraded my internet to new faster dsl. However I cannot find out how to secure my new Arris NVG443B from wireless devices. What I mean is I can't find any settings that allows you to turn off access of the web GUI interface from wireless devices. You can login into the modem/router from simply entering in it's default IP. Even though you cannot make changes without the password, I prefer to always have modem/routers restricted to only wired devices having access to the GUI. Is there no way to configure this device short of turning off the wifi? This would not be a problem at all if the modem could be simply set to bridged mode and I could use my own router which retains this feature. Should I contact Frontier and request a different modem that has the feature to turn off wireless GUI access? This is a big security concern I have with this new faster plan.
