So im a recent "convert" from att. Since the takeover ive experianced many tv and internet problems.
-massive macroblocking
-audio cutouts
-missing channels
-slow to intermittent internet speeds
I have rebooted all my devices, but am still having the issues.
Attempts to contact frontier are useless. 3+ hour wait for chat, and over 45 minute wait time on the phone!
Unfortunately, i didnt realize the takeover was happening and resigned a 1 year promotion with ATT in september. Now i know frontier is claiming i would have to pay an early termination fee to cancel, but i think there may be some ways out of it.
-When i renewed my contract, it was through att, not frontier, att's TOS says nothing about keeping the contract when transferring to another provider
-When i attempted to sign up online to frontier to view my account, the TOS from frontier is very clear of sticking customers with an ETF. So i DID NOT agree to the TOS, essentially not signing up for frontier service or agreeing to them.
Ive already signed up for comcasts service, while i dislike them, i know their network is solid in my area and neighbors love them.
I cant see frontier legally able to hold me to ETF when their system doesnt work as advertised, i never signed up with frontier, and many others are having the same issue.
It also seems classless to post on their website that ETF's will be held up. If the company is so great, let the customer decide, dont hold them by the wallets.
Thoughts?
