I have Frontier's standard 7550 modem/ router combo and a wireless range extender to get it to the far end of the house. My speeds are supposed to be around 6 mbps, but my biggest problem is that my connection repeatedly cuts out.
I live in a duplex with my parents and they basically connect to the modem and I use the extender. Is the main problem my range extender, my modem or my service? Frontier says I'm running at full capacity and when I check my speeds online, it looks legit. If my issue is the modem or range extender, can I get a new router and / or modem to fix my issue?
