Frontier was supposed to disconnect my DSL line a little while ago, but they didn't. The reason for that is probably because they are trying to charge me $67 / month for a lousy and barely working 1.5 Mbps DSL line.
Some background info is here: https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r32333460-DSL-Pricing-change-after-speed-change
When I got my DSL line, it was $25 month for a 6 Mbps which would've been a good deal, but it never worked right, and the most they would do is downgrade my speed and upgrade my monthly bill. :p
As far as I can remember, they never sent me any notification of the rate change.
It may not be fully legal, but I do have a recording app on my phone, so all the conversations I've had with them is saved. At this point, I won't pay them a single penny more, so at some point they will most certainly disconnect it due to non-paynent. But then I need to deal with collection.
