So new speeds are available in my area, and my 100/100 plan + 13 IPs (which I pay $205/month) for my business line now has an option for 300/300 for $45/month more. I chose to upgrade, but they're saying I need a visit and can't just do it in the CO. Doesn't sound right.
When I upgraded from 35/35 to 100/100, they had to come out and swap out some equipment. At the same time my husband went from 50/50 to 150/150 for our residential FiOS line, and they did the swapout for him, too. Is there any type of equipment swap that you need from going from 100/100 to 300/300?
When I called in this order, my husband upgraded our residential line from his 150/150 to 200/200, and it was actually a little cheaper - and instantaneous. They did it in the CO a couple hours later, and he's been fine ever since. Just wondering why I need to wait when I've already been provisioned with the right equipment. Thoughts?
