[FIOS] Connect Actiontec MI414WR rev. I to G1100 over wifi

I'd like to connect an old Actiontec MI424WR rev. I over wifi to a new G1100, the primary MOCA-connected router for my LAN. MI424WR will server as a wireless repeater/access point for weak-signal areas of the house. Lots of intel out there about wired connections between the MI424WR rev. I and a G1100, but I'm not finding credible info for connecting them over wifi. Also seeing conflicting intel on whether the MI424WR will act as a wireless repeater/bridge. Can this be done, and if so how does one set it up? Thanks a bunch, P
