My internet was dragging badly, so I checked my speed and modem settings and discovered my provisioning had been knocked back down to 1.7 down and .45 upload.
This is UNACCEPTABLE FRONTIER!
We had this all fixed last month after the last slowdown and I was getting 6 down and .7 up as I had been getting for the past couple years.
I know I'm in a "high demand" area now, but that's not my fault. I agreed to pay my bill every month in exchange for the speed promised. Frontier did not keep up with the demand.
Allegedly, there is an upgrade that's supposed to take place. First it was Dec 31, then sometime in January, now, end of March. (Adamsville Mi system)

I called the office of the president last month and was told the upgrade was already done.
I talked to a tech last month on my last service call and he told me the equipment is here, just not installed.
Called office of the president again today and was told the upgrade was done.
So which is it?
I'm being charged $44.99 for Broadband lite and getting these ultra slow speeds, (1.7 down and .45 upload) but look at the Frontier web pages that are trying to attract new customers.
They are selling 12 Mbps for $25!!!
