Frustating install / non install experience

I realize this is my first post and it is negative so sorry about about the anger. I have been with comcast for nearly 20 years ever since they bought @home. However my bill has gotten so expensive. Along comes fios to my neighborhood with a sweet deal. So I place an order. Install day was today. First thing this morning the guy comes to put the fiber in the ground. That went well. Then I wait for the install guys. They never show. So an hour after my appointment time I call and they say sorry the guy is running late. He is on his way. 2.5 hours later nothing. So I call back. I talk to a lady who says the notes say they were at your house doing exterior work for 3 hours but were understaffed and created a callback for January 4. I spend the next hour arguing with this lady trying to explain NOBODY has been there except the wire pulling guy and he was only there 30 minutes. She tells me she is taking notes. I tell her I need an explanation for why I am being told they worked for three hours and left. Also why didn't anybody call to tell me they weren't coming. Additionally why did they make an appointment without asking me for 7am to 5pm on the 4th. She then says I will give you a number you can call. I said no, I want to stay on the line while you get me someone who can get me answers. She says well my supervisor is busy, but I will put you on hold until he can talk to you. She puts me on hold for a hour and then hangs up on me. I call back and finally get a very nice and competent lady who says so sorry, but the notes say they were unable to make your appointment due to being short staffed and heavy work load. She tells me there is nothing in the notes that says they worked at my place. They should have called but appears that they failed to do so. I then asked her where the previous lady got her info. She informs me there are no notes or records of my previous call nor notes from from any other agent that day. So I told her I no longer wished to work with their company. She again apologized and canceled my install. So.. I have dealt with some pretty bad crap from Comcast over the years, but Frontier takes the cake. I am debating trying again because Comcast is so expensive, but definitely not the right foot to start on.
