We have Frontier DSL which when we signed-up a few years ago required also a Telephone number which we've never used and frankly don't even want. Cost has crept-up to now $77 bucks, with "Digital Phone Essentials" being $30, "Broadband Max" being $25, and then YIKES $22 additional for various service charges and taxes.
Before I contact Frontier about this, does anyone know if 1. there is ANY WAY to have DSL internet without the "Digital Phone Essentials" and then I suppose 2. if Frontier has a cheaper internet service.
$77 a month seems an awful lot to pay for what typically is 300Kbps Up and 3Mbps Down!
