I don't have access to the Frontier Direct forum so I must post my question here. My father currently uses an ISP that leases their line from Frontier. I too had this very same situation, using the same ISP, and switched to Frontier DSL (at that time known as Verizon) to eliminate the proverbial middle-man.
I can't get a straight answer from Frontier. Chat, email, phone calls, web all result in different answers. The web is so bad that the software "thinks" the 90275 zip code is in Maywood. IT IS NOT!! Entering the address directly has the same result. There's no FIOS in that particular part of 90275, and most likely never will be.
Can anyone tell me if Frontier offers a DSL plan, and is there a phone number to reach a competent rep that can give definitive answers??
