They refuse to provide it.
I am moving to a new place in Redondo beach, CA. I have heard terrible things from my neighbors about Frontier (and my experience so far just trying to order has been quite painful, so I tend to believe them - never thought I would long for Verizon's customer service), and so do not want to sign a two year contract. The Frontier website says no contract pricing is available, but the reps will not tell me what it is. The chat reps also claim that a phone line is required (again despite the website saying I can get Internet only).
Two questions:
1) Anyone know how I can find the no contract pricing?
2) Verizon used to waive installation if one ordered online. With Frontier, it doesn't seem possible to order online, is there any way to order without an installation fee? The previous tenant had fios, so there is no reason for a truck roll.
