Hi everyone - new here, first post. I hope I'm doing this right!
Looking for some advice.
I am in FL, outside Tampa, and had VZ FiOS for years. Obviously changed to Frontier now.
I was going through some old emails recently and found one from VZ that I had forgotten about - that they would be updating my router firmware (ActionTec MI424WR Gen3i) so that it would broadcast both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands in February.
That, apparently, never happened. And now I can't ask VZ for help.
When I went into the router and had it check for updates, it said it couldn't find the page that was linked in the settings for updates.
I'm one of the fortunate ones that have had minimal disruptions with the switchover (I only have internet through FiOS), so I don't want to make something worse, lol. But if someone could point me to how to find any find updates? Or am I just out of luck?
Or maybe it doesn't matter anyway. I'm generally pretty close to the 50/50 speeds I'm paying for...
