Two weeks ago I fired off an email to Frontier support asking about Caller ID not showing on the TV. A few hours later I had no phone service at all. It took 3 days and some non-official help to get it back. Still no ID on TV and the phone showed Unknown Name for every caller.
Monday the 2nd I got a call from Frontier on the landline asking if the landline was working. I said since we were talking it must be working. Asked if any problems I mentioned that ID showed as Unknown Name. Within a few hours my phone was dead. Even after repeated pleas for official help phone was still dead after 5 days. Contacted Saturday unofficially asking if phone was working. I said no. An hour later phone was working and the ID was correct. Still not on TV but I will live with it.
Contacted by Frontier yesterday on my cell asking about service. I said all was OK.
Contacted by Frontier today on landline asking about service. I said all was OK. Lady said I would get a credit.
Just checked my account and I have a $5 credit.
Guess phone service costs $1 a day. ;)
I don't plan to contact Frontier support ever again unless I lose major functionality.
