[FIOS] Experience with Frontier so far (TX)

I've had Verizon FIOS since available in my area for 8? years now and have had less than 10mins of total downtime in that whole period. Suffice to say I've had extremely stable and reliable service. Then in the last 4 weeks I have had several outages as I could see my ip go from Verizon->Frontier pool and then back to Verizon (looks like failed switch over attempts). The worst outage being 5 hours long. In the upcoming hand over I was unsure of Frontier's pricing so I signed up to upgrade from 75/75 to 150/150 on March 31st.. however my 'upgrade' would not be scheduled until 4/16 due to them needing to come out and inspect my ONT. I know its a BPON, thus they would need to upgrade to GPON so I could get 100+ speed. I live on the internet and do speed tests all the time, and anytime I've done speed test for the past several years I always get 83/89 which is excellent and always been a great thing about fios (actually get slightly better speeds than your provisioning). Today is the upgrade day.. window they provide is 8am-5pm... here it is at 4pm so far no call/no show. Also since midnight I see that my speeds have dropped 64/59 (yesterday was the same 83/89). I've confirmed with multiple speed tests and have ran new speed test every 2 hours since 2am to see if it was just some fluke/congestion issue but it looks like I got downgraded to the 50/50 provisioning?
